The lodge had a homely yet upscale feel to it, making our stay comfortable and charming. the dining spaces and relaxing areas flowed together seamlessly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the food was absolutely scrumptious, and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and fabulous dinners each night. the staff was professional and on top of things, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. the location of the lodge was perfect, with great hikes and stunning scenery nearby.
There were a couple of minor flaws during our stay. the barn-style bathroom doors in our cabin didn't fully close, which was a bit inconvenient.

Very relaxing, comfortable log cabin with open log fireplace. Quiet surroundings 2 minutes from Field and 20 minute drive to Lake Louise.

Amazing place to stay. Have log burning fireplace in room. Bed and furniture was great. The resturant was amazing but obviously expensive. Has 4-5pm complimentary tea and cookies! Good romantic location.

loved the cozy cabins, stunning views of Cathedral Mountain, and complimentary use of canoes at Morraine Lake. Exceeded expectations from my previous stay in Field.
Noisy due to nearby highway traffic.

Everything! Wish we could have stayed longer. Could live there(only in summer as we are from Florida) We will be back!!! Loved it!
Saw a negative review, stupid people should go to Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise ,

Our cabin was just behind the kitchen which has a commercial fan making a lot of noise from 6 am to 11 pm. Nothing relaxing about this. We tried to relocate but were told then we would have to deal with the 24 h generator. The breakfast staff was either absent or not attentive.

We stayed at this gorgeous lodge for part of our honeymoon and were blown away by the stunning surroundings. The cabins are like an adorable little village nestled among the mountains, with remnants of a former mining operation adding character. The interior of the cabins and the main center were lovely, and the nearby cold river was a refreshing touch. The staff were wonderful, always cheerful and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future adventures.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Loved the access to the Kicking Horse River - being able to sit on chairs provided and enjoy the outdoors. Loved the porch on the cabin to sit outside also. Room was adequate in the cabin - liked the real wood "homemade" look to the furniture. It was nice to have a tub with the shower. Having a real chef prepare the evening meal was great and was a good price for a gourmet meal!

King size bed; amenties such as free continental breakfast, complimentary canoe trip, complimentary guided hike; cleanliness of the room. Generally quiet and secluded.
No view of the river from the cabin - that would have been nice. No microwave.

We got great value for our money at Cathedral Mountain Lodge. The room was cozy, clean, and had a romantic fireplace. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, and the staff treated us with exceptional service.
The breakfast selection could have been better with more variety.

The cabin was very cozy and has a country feel to it. Nice decor. The best is the breakfast, lovely dinning room with fire place and staff to serve. We really felt pampered staying in Cathedral Lodge. There was also complimentary afternoon tea and yummy croissants as well!
Location is away from town. No exercise room.

Considering the weather was so bad for June we really enjoyed our stay, cabins very comfortable and clean, nice to have a fireplace which we used. Dinner in the evening was delicious and the breakfast good the first morning but on our second morning selection not so good. Overall I would recommend Cathedral Mountain Lodge to anyone wanting a relaxing break, the staff are very helpful and friendly, good food and the cabins are wonderful.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The cabins were cozy and had beautiful front porches with Adirondack chairs. The staff was incredibly friendly and treated me with kindness. The common area had a stunning indoor/outdoor fireplace and a deck with breathtaking views of the mountains and the majestic river. Coffee/tea was provided every afternoon. The property was perfect for exploring, with campfires by the river and picturesque walks along the riverbank. The surrounding mountains were absolutely stunning.
Our only concern was the noise. The lodge was positioned near a busy highway and railroad, making it difficult to hear the gentle rush of the nearby river.
